President Donald Trump blasted Hillary Clinton on Twitter late Wednesday, accusing her of blaming “everybody … but herself” for her electoral loss last November.

“Crooked Hillary Clinton blames everybody (and every thing) but herself for her election loss,” the president tweeted.

Clinton has recently thrust herself back into the political spotlight while promoting her new book, “What Happened,” a memoir retelling her perspective on the 2016 presidential election.

Since then, Clinton has repeatedly said she takes responsibility for her defeat. But in both the book and in promotional media appearances, she has also repeatedly criticized others, including former FBI Director James Comey, the Russian government and Democratic opponent Bernie Sanders, for damaging her bid for the White House.

The former secretary of state has also frequently referenced a moment during her second presidential debate with Trump in which she says he “stalked” her around the stage – a critique Trump seemingly alluded to in his late-night tweeting Wednesday.

“She lost the debates and lost her direction!” Trump wrote.

The president also dinged Clinton for her comments on the campaign trail in which she characterized half of his supporters as a “basket of deplorables,” arguing that it was their support that propelled him into the West Wing.

“The ‘deplorables’ came back to haunt Hillary,” he wrote. “They expressed their feelings loud and clear. She spent big money but, in the end, had no game!”

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders previously described Clinton’s book tour and continued comments on the 2016 race as “sad.”

“I think it’s sad that after Hillary Clinton ran one of the most negative campaigns in history and lost, and the last chapter of her public life is now going to be defined by propping up book sales with false and reckless attacks,” Sanders said at a news briefing Tuesday.
