A 15-year-old boy with autism who police say has been missing since leaving Gresham High School on Monday afternoon is being sought.

Lucas Cole was supposed to walk home to the area of Northwest Fourth Street and Towle Avenue, but he never showed up and may have been seen that night on the Springwater Trail, according to Gresham police.

Cole is new to the area and doesn’t have a cell phone or use social media, police said.

Cole is described as about 5-foot-9 and 140 pounds and was wearing a black hoodie, maroon sweatpants, black shoes and a green backpack.

Police ask anyone who knows of Cole’s whereabouts to call the Gresham police non-emergency line at 503-823-3333.
